I have photographed the extremely fun Turkish-Egyptian wedding of Başak and Omar in Dalaman. Başak was living in Malaysia when she first contacted me. She was from Turkey, and Omar was from Egypt. They picked Hilton Dalaman as the venue for their destination wedding in Turkey.
Our first face-to-face meeting with them was in Istanbul. They came to town to visit Başak’s family, and get some of the arrangements done for their wedding. We talked about their past, future, love and life. The conversation we had was so much fun, we didn’t notice the hours passing, until some of their friends joined us at that meeting.
When the wedding day came, we were together again at Hilton Dalaman. In the morning, some of their guests from around the world enjoyed the beach, while others relaxed by the pool. And Başak started her preparations around noon time.
The wedding at night was by the pool. There was lots of music and dancing. At one point, Omar and the guests were walking like an Egyptian on the dance floor 🙂
Thanks guys, for having me there to photograph your special day, and have fun while doing that.
Update: After Başak and Omar’s wedding, I have photographed the weddings and engagement parties of their friends that I have met at this wedding. This destination wedding in Bodrum was one of them. Let’s see how many faces you will recognize between both weddings 🙂
